Overview

Link Space is built with privacy as the foundation. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello.linkspace@gmail.com.

Information we collect

  • Account info: email address, username, and password (stored hashed).
  • Profile: optional display name, bio, academic interests, and profile picture.
  • Messages: the content of conversations you send, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Technical data: basic logs needed to operate the service (e.g. IP for rate-limiting and abuse prevention).

How we use it

Only to operate Link Space: authenticate you, deliver messages, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell data, run ads, or share your data with advertisers.

Your choices

  • Update or delete profile info at any time from your settings.
  • Delete your account from settings. Your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Request a copy of your data by emailing us.

Security

We use industry-standard practices: TLS for connections, encrypted storage, modern password hashing, breached-password detection, and least-privilege access controls.

Children

Link Space is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy as Link Space evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
